 FAQs

  • We offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation to discuss your business, current systems, and how we can support you. After this conversation, we’ll provide a tailored proposal within two business days. If you’re happy with the proposal, we’ll send you a Letter of Engagement to get started.

  • Prices may vary but our services are charged at a flat rate of $80 per hour plus GST.

  • Outsourcing offers significant savings and flexibility compared to hiring staff. As contractors, we cover our own sick leave, holiday leave, insurance, and ACC. We work from our own office using our own equipment, saving you the cost of providing space and resources. Additionally, you only pay for the hours worked. Hiring an employee for limited hours can be difficult and costly, and ending an employee relationship involves a more complex and often expensive legal process, whereas ending our agreement simply requires the notice period outlined in our Letter of Engagement.

  • A bookkeeper and an accountant play different but equally important roles in managing your business finances.

A bookkeeper handles the day-to-day financial transactions of your business — including recording income and expenses, reconciling bank accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and ensuring your financial data is accurate and up to date. This ongoing work ensures you have a clear picture of your cash flow and financial position at all times.

An accountant typically focuses on the bigger picture — they use the financial data prepared by your bookkeeper to provide tax advice, prepare annual financial statements, and lodge tax returns. Accountants can also help with business structuring, compliance, and long-term financial strategy.

When both roles are working together, your financial information is accurate, timely, and useful — reducing errors, lowering accounting costs, and giving you confidence in your business decisions.

  • We are proud members of the Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers (ICNZB) — New Zealand’s leading professional body for bookkeepers.
